A demat account is just like a securities bank account/wallet in its most basic form. To buy securities such as stocks and bonds, a person must first open a demat account in their name, which allows them to keep their holdings in a dematerialized or digital format.

Update your mobile number & email Id with your stock broker/depository participant and receive OTP directly from depository on your email id and/or mobile number to create pledge.

7.As per the SEBI circular the deadline for providing the choice of nomination details has been extended to September 30, 2023. Falling which the demat account shall be frozen for debits. You are requested to submit your nomination or request for opt-out of nomination (not to nominate anyone) in the prescribed format on or before September 30, 2023
